Jaun Lopez completing a 4 mile run with determination and grit and representing the Compton Community College Tartars. This young man was not going to be denied the finish line, even with very little fanfare. In fact, most of the schools were packing up to leave, and I just happened to be walking by after taking photos in the park, and heard a timer ask another, if anyone was still out there. His answer was "yes", I can see him rounding the corner. I thought that this young man needed to be recognized for his efforts ... Congratulations Jaun Lopez for finishing the race. You have made your school proud !!!!!!
