OXNARD HIGH SCHOOL
1st ANNUAL DISTANCE INVITATIONAL

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY: Coaches may enter as many athletes in an event as they wish.
Please send team roster prior to the meet using Hy-tek to HOrtiz.OHSTF@yahoo.com (deadline is
February 23). Please make sure that name, sex, and grade is correct for each athlete. There will be no pre-meet entries of athletes. Event entries will be done on meet day. All athletes must run for the school they attend. No unattached or club affiliated runners. Each athlete will be limited to (4) four
DIVISIONS: Girls Freshman/Sophomore, Girls Varsity, Boys Freshman/Sophomore, and Boys
EVENTS: 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 8x200, and DMR. A school may enter more than one relay team per event but only one of the teams can medal.
ENTRY FEES: $200.00 for large schools, $150.00 for small schools or $5.00 per individual (maximum of 10 entries in each gender). Make checks payable to Oxnard High School Track. Please send checks to Oxnard High School, 3400 W Gonzales Rd, Oxnard, CA or bring it with you to the meet. A $25.00 late fee will be charged to those teams who have not paid by the day of the meet.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Rain or shine, the OHS Distance Invitational will be run. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather, unless there is an unprecedented act of god, police or fire department closure, etc. The OHS Distance Invitational reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule the event in the best interests of our participants with no refunds
AWARDS: Medals to top 3 individuals in each event. Top 3 in relays.
SPIKES: 3/16 needle spikes are required. Spikes over 3/16 will not be allowed.
SNACK BAR: We will have a variety of food and drinks.
ADMISSION: Spectators $2.00; children under 12, $1.00
