Here we go Arizona track & field fans! Round 1 of our Arizona track and field athlete of the decade - boys' bracket. Voting starts today and ends 10 pm, June 3rd.

We look at how many of our triple-threat distance boys did or are doing at the collegiate level. This will be part 1 of 2.

Deep fields feature 27 athletes ranked top 3 in nation, including 11 at #1

Billy Orman, Tuba City, broke the 28 year old 1600 Arizona State Record at the Meet of Champions Saturday night with a time of 4:05.29.

Chris Brown, SC, broke a 33 year old record with his US#1 51-2.5 TJ.  Billy Orman, AZ, broke a 27 year old State Record by running an 8:48.63 US#1 3200 meter run.  Aisling Cuffe, NY, put on a distance clinic with a 9:56.16 3200 yesterday and a 4:40.56 1600 today!  Haley Pierce, DE, ran a 4:41 1600 at her County Champs today as well.   Kyle Long (Hempfield) won the discus with a US#4 toss of 187-2 on a chilly 32 degree day.

 Several Arizona athletes moved into the US top 10 over the weekend.  From top left, Billy Orman (Tuba CIty), Tommy Williams (Brophy), Jasmine Todd (Chandler), Devon Allen (Brophy, bottom left) and Hannah Carson (Chandler, bottom right).

 Dylan Souza (Sr., Catalina Foothills) and Yasmine Yacut (Sr., Desert Vista) are the top 800 meter returnees for the 2011 track season.
