Best times in a 5K and 3 Mile race?
My best time in a 5K is a 15:22 and in a 3 Mile race 14:45.
Tell us how your training is going?
My summer training went well but was hindered by an on going calf injury.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
My goals for the upcoming season are to return to the state meet and run a better time than last year and I would also like to go to the state meet with the team.
How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I started running competitively my freshmen of highschool. It began with summer practice before the school year started. A couple friends of mine suggested that I try it out and it turned out I enjoyed it even more than I thought I would. Running has become a part of my daily life. It's a necessity.
Will you be competing out of state this season?
I do not believe I will be competing out of state this season.
Favorite course to run in California?
My favorite course to run in the state is the Mt. SAC invitational course.
Toughest course in California?
I also believe that the Mt. SAC course is the toughest course in the state.
What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career?
I have always liked the Mt. Carmel Invitational in San Diego ever since I was a freshmen. We go to it every year.
Favorite Cross Country memory?
I don't exactly have one favorite memory in cross country but I will always have fond memories of my time with the team.
When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
When I am not running I enjoy spending my time with my teammates or other friends.
Favorite quote?
This isn't necessarily my favorite quote but it is one that put a smile on my face while reading it. It's from a book I'm currently reading called Once a Runner. The quote is "How did I know you ran the mile in 4:30 in high school? That's easy. Everyone ran the mile in 4:30 in high school." - Frank Shorter
