All Californian Performances at World Athletics U20 Champs

The long track and field season ended in early August on the sport's biggest stage for high school athletes. At the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, several California athletes put a stamp on their incredible seasons. 

Jaslene Massey may have earned her first loss of the season in the discus, but she walked away with a silver medal and an 8th-place finish in the shot put. Both Clara Adams and Jaelen Hunter helped Team USA win 4x400m relay races, further demonstrating California's history of excellence in the 400m. Cy Lugo also helped Team USA earn a bronze medal in the Mixed 4x100m relay, placing another Californian on the podium. 

All 10 Californians, representing three different countries, put together phenomenal performances in Eugene, Oregon. Below, see where each athlete finished at the World Athletics U20 Championships.
