Girls Performances
Event: Girls Turbo Javelin (11-Year-Old) - 26.74m (87-9) - 3rd Place
Hunter earned a spot on the podium in the 11-year-old turbo javelin with a 26.74m throw on her second attempt. She later came back with a 26.08m effort on her fifth throw and finished just 0.16m behind runner-up Olivia Lampman.
Event: Girls 100m (9-Year-Old) - 13.64 (+0.9) - 5th Place
Ledoux finished fifth in the 9-year-old 100m championship, crossing the line in 13.636. She narrowly missed fourth place, with Timberlynd Shaw edging her by just three-thousandths of a second at 13.633.
Event: Girls Turbo Javelin (10-Year-Old) - 20.04m (65-9) - 6th Place
Ashwin finished sixth in the 10-year-old turbo javelin after surpassing 20 meters on her fifth attempt. She opened the competition with a 19.98m throw before reaching her best of 20.04m in the fifth round.
Event: Girls 400m (9-Year-Old) - 1:05.78 - 6th Place
Zamora placed sixth in the 9-year-old 400m final with a 1:05.78 performance. She was the lone California athlete in the championship race and later helped California All Stars earn a podium finish in the 10-year-old 4x400m relay.
California All Stars
Event: Girls 4x400m Relay (10-Year-Old) - 4:28.91 - 3rd Place
California All Stars finished third in the 10-year-old 4x400m relay, as Braelie Ingram, Serenity Carrington, E'Myah Miles and Amina Zamora combined for a 4:28.91. The quartet reached the halfway point in 2:14.09 before securing California a spot on the national podium.
Boys Performances
Event: Boys 400m (9-Year-Old) - 58.95 - 2nd Place
Jones turned in one of California's top performances on the final day, finishing second in the 9-year-old 400m with a 58.95. His performance broke the previous AAU national and Junior Olympic Games record of 59.25, with only champion Clifford Pointer finishing faster at 58.70.
Siy Green, Run Hard University
Event: Boys 100m (9-Year-Old) - 13.44 (+0.3) - 3rd Place
Green earned a national bronze medal in the 9-year-old 100m, clocking 13.44 in the championship final. He finished behind Kurt Dunmore Jr., who won in 12.87, and Asher Denman, who took second in 12.91.
Event: Boys 400m (8-Under) - 1:07.04 - 7th Place
Wooten earned a seventh-place finish in the boys 8-under 400m championship, clocking 1:07.04. He was the lone California athlete to reach the eight-runner final, which was won by Mekhi Thomas in 1:03.05.
Event: Boys 100m (12-Year-Old) - 12.65 (-1.7) - 8th Place
Okafor finished eighth in the 12-year-old 100m championship while racing into a 1.7 m/s headwind. He clocked 12.65 in a final where less than six-tenths of a second separated first through eighth.
Derek Luna, Covina Shooting Stars
Event: Boys 3000m (15-16) - 9:19.49 - 10th Place
Luna earned a top-10 national finish in the 15-16 boys 3000m, crossing the line in 9:19.49. He closed the race with a 1:11.14 final segment to secure 10th place in the championship field.
