California's Team Spotlight; Who to Watch at State?

The all-boys school has put on a clinic in the sprints and relays this year. There have been eleven instances over the course of the season that have resulted in Top 50 state performances. The boys from Anaheim have also put up seven Top 50 national performances. Heading into the CIF State Track & Field Championships, Servite leads California in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. To add in some extra credibility to the South Californian program, they posted the top time CA time this season for the 4x200m at the Arcadia Invitational and also have a Top 50 state ranked team in the 4x800m.

Girls: JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano)
The Lady Lions' distance program has continued to sweep the state. Just like in cross country ad previous track seasons, JSerra's girls have shown up on race day and delivered key performances for their team scoring. San Juan Capistrano's pride is currently leading California in the 4x800m and the DMR. Matter of fact, their DMR team placed 4th at the prestigious Oregon Relays and was the top California team at the meet. They have a mind-blowing thirty-eight Top 50 statewide marks and another five Top 50 nationwide performances. JSerra's distance squad has truly shown out this season and their 4x400 team was no sleeper either; yet another Top 50 performance in California by the mile relay quartet.
