Girls

Maliyah Collins & Tra'Via Flournoy: These two sophomores from Rosary High School are looking to continue their dominance from the 2025 season, as they've opened January with outstanding performances. Last week, the Texas Tech Wes Kittley Invitational demonstrated its excellence by recording the 1st- and 2nd-fastest underclassmen 60m performances.

Lyric Scott: The CIF State 400m qualifier from last season is starting the season showing her fast-twitch speed across the 60m, 150m, and 200m. She's currently ranked as the second fastest underclassman in the 200m after an impressive 24.74 at the Spokane HS Invitational.

Azra Gercek: Last year's California Winter Championships 600m runner-up is looking better than ever after running a 1:33 during December. Gerceck has proven to show up in high-pressure situations, making her a formidable challenge for anyone this Winter.

Laila Kirk: Another 800m California superstar is entering the mix, who has run 2:07 during her club track days last season. Last weekend, Kirk ran an impressive triple at the Trackrabbit All-Comers, where she secured three victories in the 300m (42.00), 600m (1:36.76), and 1600m (5:18.29)

Boys

Servite Boys: Not much more can be said about these sophomore boys, who currently are the top four fastest underclassmen in the 60m, 150m, and 200m. Jorden Wells (6.66, 15.95, 21.71), Jace Wells (6.90, 15.94, 20.99), Jaelen Hunter (7.02, 16.02, 21.51), Kamil Pelovello (6.85, 15.87, 21.64)

Jeremiah Easley: As a freshman, Easley established himself as a prominent 400m runner in the state, clocking in at 49.14 by the close of the season. Now in his sophomore year, he is reaching elite status, opening the season with an impressive 48.85 on an indoor track.

Keith Buswell: Setting a personal record at the beginning of the season is always a good sign, but Keith Buswell running a blistering 1:22 in the 600m after only running 1:59 last year is fantastic. Buswell's super sophomore season may be loading, and we're all seated for it.

Charles Fugit: At the Los Gatos Winter Qualifiers, Charles Fugit has figured it out in the shot put after breaking the 50-foot barrier twice. He currently leads all first-year students and should be seen as a threat for the rest of the season.
