The 2025 California cross country season is in full swing, and we are officially on the road to some big invitationals this fall. While the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic is a few weeks away, there are XC meets preparing runners for this year's epic races.
The PR City Invitational features some of the premier Southern Section teams opening up their season for three miles. Premier teams like Arnold O. Beckman, Santiago (Corona), Redondo Union, JSerra, and more will line up in Norco, CA. This year's course mimics what the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic did on the Silver Lakes complex from 2016 to 2021. Needless to say, expect fast times from reigning CIF State Champions and hungry runners ready to prove themselves.
Another highly anticipated meet is the Dana Hills Invitational, which is making its return after a two-year hiatus. This meet has always been known to produce electric early-season times, and this weekend is bound to be no exception.
