An injury prohibited Santa Margarita (SS) senior Roman Mendoza from a chance at a CIF-State Meet title but the CA leader in the 300mH was, by 0.14 seconds, the CA combo hurdles leader for the 2023 outdoor season.

These combined rankings leaders are produced by pulling the top 100 performances in the 110-meter hurdles, then adding the top 100 marks in the 300-meter hurdles. Athletes without times in both events were eliminated and the top marks for the remaining athletes were added together to get this rankings list.

Because the 100mH is the foundation for this data article, athletes must have had a top-100 mark in that event to be included. Athletes with a high ranking in the 300mH without a top-100 mark in the 110mH are not included.
