Culver City (SS) sophomore Joelle Trepagnier and Wilson-Long Beach (SS) senior Aujane Luckey were the two fastest girls 200m-400m combined sprinters in California this past season. At right in the photo is Mountain View (CC) sophomore Hannah Rutherford, who ranks eighth on this list.

These combined rankings leaders are produced by pulling the top 100 times in the 200-meter dash, then adding the top 100 times in the 400-meter dash. Athletes without times in both events were eliminated and the times for the remaining athletes were added together to get this rankings list.

Because the 200 meter dash is the foundation for this data article, athletes must have had a top-100 time in that event to be included. Athletes with a high ranking in the 400m without a top-100 time in the 200m are not included.
