Alejandro Cervantes has lived his life with the saying, "A disability is not an impossibility." Well, Alejandro takes that statement and pushes it to the limit.

Cervantes, a junior at Heritage HS (NC) in Brentwood, was diagnosed with retina glaucoma and is legally blind, yet he decided to participate in track and field. And further, he decided to participate in perhaps one of the toughest events, the hurdles, simply because he sees it as a challenge.

MileSplit contributor Eric Morford visited with Cervantes for a practice to tell the story.
