Six girls who competed in eight individual events last May at the CIF-State Track and Field Championship Finals, are scheduled to return for the 2023 outdoor season. She led the state in the high jump last season, twice clearing 5-10, and has the top returning mark from the '22 outdoor season. Ashanti went to the SJS Division Finals in the short sprints but her best event is the high jump where she won the SJS Masters title with a best of 5-5 among 15 event wins last spring.
