MILESPLIT Junior Girls All-CA Track and Field Team

MILESPLIT ALL-CA TRACK AND FIELD

CONGRATULATIONS to these outstanding track and field athletes in the Class of 2023 who have been selected as the best in their class in CA from the 2022 outdoor season.

The All-State MileSplit Junior Girls All-CA Track and Field Team was selected based primarily but not exclusively on athletes who rank among the top of their class in the U.S. and were State Meet medalists in individual events.

These teams are selected by the editor and are subjective.

Marks are based on the MileSplit database. Stronger consideration is given to marks achieved at CIF and top invitationals over league meets and duals. Consistency at a high level may also be a factor in final selections.

In selecting this team, every attempt is made to represent all 14 individual events and as many of the 10 CIF sections as makes sense based on athlete performances within the class.

Girls in the Class of 2023 produced eight individual champions and five individual event runners-up out of the 14 (non-relay) events at the State Meet. This class also produced 31 medals for top-six finishes at State. Seven state leaders in the traditional 14 individual events also came from the Class of 2023.

Athletes are listed alphabetically by last name. All references to rankings are within the class unless noted as overall.
