Wonder why you hardly ever see any team rankings for track & field until the end of May, unlike other sports? With there being 16 separate events in conjunction with so many moving pieces, with athletes jumping from event to event and coaching staffs working to realize the best formula for team success -- it is much more challenging to bring together and collect accurate team rankings for the sport.
Furthermore, an athlete can be atop the list in several events but the reality is that they would not compete in those same events once the postseason comes around. Along with that, the sport collects new faces along with losing others all throughout ... but we are here to give it a go!
These subjective team rankings reflect on last season's stats along with any news we have gathered from transfers and the ever-consistent moving parts that take place with each team. Our goal is to reveal our top teams throughout the season!
