As the 2020 outdoor season hits full gear this week, we wanted to make sure to break out the fastest returning boys and girls in the Golden State.
Let us take you through the process so that you understand how we ended up with this list.
The process started with the top 250 returning sprinters for 100 meters. Then we pulled the top 250 returning sprinters for 200 meters. We eliminated any returning boy without top-250 times for both distances, which reduced this list to 228. We then combined the PR totals and ranked them by the fastest combined time over the two distances.
Times are based solely on returning times, meaning from 2019 only.
