Newbury Park Girls
While the Panthers' boys team was garnering the headlines last fall, we can't help but notice that the girls had an excellent spring season. Led by a 4:56 from Fiona Hawkins, this squad put 4 returning girls under 5:20 with a fifth at 5:21. They still have a lot of ground to gain in the powerhouse Southern Section, but those track times are indicative of a big step forward from last year.
