#7 Gillian Wagner, Redwood (NCS)
During the 2016 Track and Field season, Gillian Wagner (photo above courtesy of Ben Crawford) ran 2:12.91 to finish in 5th place at the North Coast Section Meet of Champions. She proved to be more than just an 800 meter runner during the following Cross Country season as she finished in 2nd place at the Marin County Athletic League (MCAL), North Coast Section MOC and state Division II final, all behind teammate Glennis Murphy. Wagner ran an impressive 17:30.7 on the Woodward Park course which was the 9th fastest time overall. This past Track and Field season, Wagner continued her impressive running with a 4:53.18 1600m. She also won the Stanford Invitational 3000m with a time of 9:58.26.
