9 sections crowned their individual and team champions over a 4-day stretch last week, and the championship atmospheres at all the section finals meets brought out the best in the athletes! There were only a few new CA #1 marks and a handful that were nationally ranked (including one on the all-time US list), but there were some impressive doubles from athletes that will carry multiple events to the state meet.
