Best times in a 5K and 3 Mile race?
My best 5k time is 17:24. I ran it at the California State Meet at Woodward Park last year.
Tell us how your training is going?
My summer training is going very well. I'm coming off of an injury so it's pretty slow going and I'm not running as many miles right now as I might have otherwise. But, I'm getting a lot stronger.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
For this season I want to get under 17 minutes for a 5k race. I would also like to qualify for Footlocker Nationals.
How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I've been running since 7th grade, so about 3 years. I had played many years of soccer so when I got to Jr High I decided I would try cross country and I loved it so I kept running.
Will you be competing out of state this season?
Unlikely
Favorite course to run in California?
I absolutley love Woodward Park where the state meet is.
Toughest course in California?
Definitely Mt. Sac!!
What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career?
Probably the California State Meet because it was a very cool experience and I ran one of my best races there.
Favorite Cross Country memory?
Qualifying for Footlocker Nationals because I met tons of new people and got to race with the top 40 girls in the country. It was awesome!
When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
I love to bake cupcakes and cakes!!
