2017 Boys Pre-Season Top 10 California XC Runners

#10 Robert Miranda, Menlo (CCS)

If you look at last year's cross country results, Menlo senior Robert Miranda will not be found in any results. Due to an injury suffered over the summer, Miranda missed his entire junior XC season after finishing in 9th place as a sophomore in the 2015 state meet Division IV race with a time of 15:40.20. Miranda quickly put the missed XC season behind him by winning the California Winter Championships 3000 meter race with a time of 8:51.14 (photo above courtesy of Lizette Adams). He set new personal bests during the outdoor Track and Field season with 4:14.85 mile at the Azusa Meet of Champions, 4:14.22 1600m. at the CCS Top 8 meet and with his victorious 9:10.26 effort at the CCS Championship. Miranda finished in 10th place at the California state meet with a time of 9:13.84.
