It doesn't matter which set of team rankings you choose; Vacaville Christian is on top of all of them, by a commanding margin. The Falcons are prohibitive favorites to win again, and so it might be more instructive to look at the potential battle for the second spot to advance to the state meet. It looks like no less that 4 schools could lay claim to that second-place trophy, although Ripon Christian has to be considered to have a slight edge after taking the runner-up position in 2014. Western Sierra missed out by 3 points last year, so that might provide excellent motivation;

Individuals to Watch
Katerina Stashyn (Vacaville Christian) won the section finals race by well over a minute last year, so there's no reason to doubt that she's the favorite to repeat. The only runner to come within a decent range of staying with her last year was Mariah Deguara (Capital Christian), who finished 19 seconds back at The Other Meet. Deguara will likely find herself working hard to get to second place, because staying ahead of Emma Winkler (Delta) and Kristin Moore (Woodland Christian) won't be easy.
