Upland senior Jada Hicks ran a California-leading and wind-legal 13.54 (US #3) to win the invitational Brooks Girls 100 Hurdles on Saturday at the 60th Mt. SAC Relays at El Camino College.
Ayala junior Mikaela Ramirez won the girls invitational 800 on Saturday after running third in a US #4 time of 4:50.00 in the mile.
Corona Centennial senior Rylee Penn won the girls seeded 800 meters on Saturday at the 60th Mt. SAC Relays. Penn, a former CIF-State Meet runner-up, ran away from the field with a strong kick in posting 2:11.80, the 7th fastest time of her four-year career and the fastest since peaking at 2:11.37 at last year's CIF Masters Meet.
Jamar Marshall, a sophomore at Stockdale St. Mary's held off a strong field to win the invitational 110 meter hurdles on Saturday at the 60th Mt. SAC Relays. Marshall's wind-legal time of 14.10 is CA #2.
