In the Boys' Team Sweeps, Great Oak is back to defend its championships from last year. The Wolfpack, led by senior Tyler Tickner (Dan Peterson photo above) lads are also going for a fifth consecutive overall title. While GO is ranked No. 2 in the nation and many feel that the Wolfpack deserve to be higher, Loyola and La Costa Canyon (SD), led by twins Garrett and Jacob Stanford (Orlando Ramirez photo below), will chase the favorites but also provide a preview of what we anticipate as a great battle for the Division 2 state title later next month! Meanwhile, La Serna, Thousand Oaks and Arcadia will look to keep up with tough Crescenta Valley and Long Beach Poly squads! Traveling down to join the affair, Bellarmine (CC), Foothill (NC), Homestead (CC), and Stockdale (CS) are some of the best squads from Northern California. Desert Vista out of Tempe, Arizona will make the trip west.
