This was a young team in 2017, with two freshmen and two sophomores in the top 7. That could pay off in 2018, as the Highlanders should be in contention for the LA City Section crown and a berth in the state meet. They only look to have two seniors in the top 7 this fall, too, so the window could stay open into 2019 for this team.
