Westmoor Ram Invitational Highlights
Jonas Enders (Gunn) won the Varsity Race 1 on Westmoor's 2.4 mile course, clocking 12:39. San Francisco University took the team win in that race by a score of 95 - 115 over Cupertino. In the second Varsity race, it was Zach Walker (Willow Glen) crossing the line first with the fastest time of the day, a 12:25 (that's 15:30 pace for 3 miles). Walker led his team to a commanding win, 48 - 123 over College Park. In combined results from all races, Willow Glen looks even more dominant, leading by a score of 91 - 228 over University.
Kaylah Grant (Live Oak) had by far the best time on the girls' side, taking the Varsity Race 1 in 14:00 (on pace for 17:30 over 3 miles). St. Francis Mountain View claimed the win in that race, scoring 54 to defeat Del Oro (102 points). Lauren Lum (Alameda) ran 14:43 in Varsity Race 2, holding off teammate Lara Vetter for the win. That 1-2 finish was enough to bring Alameda the win, 46 - 67 over College Park. When you combine the results from all the races, Alameda squeaks out the win over St. Francis by a score of 100 - 126, with College Park in 3rd.
