Teams to Watch
Looking at both 5K and 3 Mile times, Shasta has the top returning team in the division. In fact, last year's runners-up are shaping up to be pretty dominant this time around. The Wolves are set to return at least 6 of the top 10 Division 3 runners in the Northern Section, and that will make them hard to beat. Chico is the closest competition to get the single spot in the state meet that comes from this section, but it will be an uphill battle for the Panthers this season

Athletes to Watch (Individual Rankings)
It's easy to see why Shasta leads the team ranking, when you realize the Wolves have arguably the top two individuals among the 5 D3 teams. Rising senior Sam Grafe is the top returner from last year's section finals, while junior Andrew Skoy has the best 5K time. The only two runners that can break up Shasta's top 5 are Chico's Liam Monninger and Shayne Morrisey (Pleasant Valley).
