Event: 400m
PR's: 21.79 (200m), 47.34 (400m)
Rohani, a University of Southern California signee is coming off an impressive junior season. The Beverly Hills High School product won the quarter mile at the CIF State Track & Field Championships in a new personal best time of 47.34. He has been focusing on more speed work this year primarily 100's and 200's to improve his 400 meter times. The senior has also been hitting the weight room so he feels stronger on the track. Rohani heads north to Seattle, for the Brooks PR Invitational and says he is looking forward to meeting new people, exploring the city, and of course racing on the Dempsey's indoor track.
"My goal is just to compete very hard and see what my time is at the finish line. I don't have a specific time goal for Brooks. In the outdoor season my goals are to defend my 400 meter state title and make it and medal in the 200 at state finals, hopefully go to New Balance Nationals and run very well there. I want to set a personal best in all of my events from the 100-800 and I definitely feel like I can do that with the training I have been doing this year."
