What a day for Florida distance fans! Several Floridians traveled out to the famed Arcadia Invitational in California this weekend. Matt Mizereck (Leon), Colin Barker (BK), and Michael Wallace (BK) competed in the invitational division of the 3200 meter race and certainly came through! Mizereck finished in a fourth place 8:55.75, Barker in sixth 8:56.80, and Wallace 19th place 9:02.22! Getting an idea yet how elite that race was? To put it into perspective those times ar 5th, 6th, and 12th on the All-Time list for Florida. In other Florida action in Cali... Angelo Cabrera (Dunnellon) finished in 6th in the 100m in 10.83 and Dunnellon's 4x400 relay finished in 5th place 3:22.94. MileSplit was on-site at the Arcadia Invitational and results, photos, and videos are being uploaded.
