Duke-bound Mira Costa (SS) HS senior Dalia Frias opened her 2022 track and field season at the Crescenta Valley Distance meet, competing in both the 800- and 1600-meter races.
Palos Verdes (SS) HS senior Luke Stefanou outpaced classmate William Kirk in the 3200 meters at the Crescenta Valley Distance meet. Stefanou won in 9:33.45 with Kirk next in 9:37.04.
