On Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21, 2020, the Dublin High School track and field team will be having its 13th Annual Dublin Distance Fiesta at Dublin High School in Dublin, CA.

The meet will feature the distance races of 800, 1600 and 3200 meters as well as an invitational style Distance Medley Relay to cap off Saturday evening.

All runners of all skill levels are welcome.

Why you should bring your team Last years meet was a huge success, with nearly 120 schools, 2600+ student athletes and 3600+ entries repeating from previous years meets of over a dozen marks that were in the top 10 in the state and many other clutch performances across the events garnishing hundreds of personal records!

A disc jockey will be provided to play music during the events and will be taking requests from both the athletes and the coaches and we will be running under the lights! This has been a big hit at previous meets over the years whats a Fiesta without some music!

We will be giving out 3 Winner t-shirts in each heat and also be offering Winner bags as well! There is plenty of free parking available on campus as well as easy walking distance from street parking. T

here will be plenty of warm-up area on the track infield and on the baseball fields area.

(Top two in each of the above qualifies for Arcadia -placement based on time)
* 3200 Girls Heats

(Winner qualifies for Arcadia Invitational section, 2nd qualifies for Arcadia Invitational/Seeded section)
* 3200 Boys Heats

* Distance Medley Relay Girls (top 24 entry times)

* Distance Medley Relay Boys (top 24 entry times)

(Top two in DMR qualify for Arcadia - placement based on time)

**The goal of the DDF is to run ALL of the events on Saturday. Only when we have an abundance of entries will we run the overflow on Friday night. It is our intention to only move heats of the 3200 to Friday night, with a tentative start time of 7:00 PM.**

*Saturday tentative start time will be 8:00 AM. Final time schedule to be determined by the number of entries.

Heat sheets and final schedule will be available Monday, March 16, 2020.*

Awards: T-shirts to the top 3 finishers in each heat for individual events (top 4 in
the fast heat). These winners will have the option of a T-shirt or our
Winner bags. Plaque, t-shirts AND bags for DMR winners. A special sombrero to the fastest time of the day will be awarded in each event, including every member and coach of the winning DMR team.

Parking: There is plenty of free parking on campus as well as on the street.

The track is easily accessible from the street parking.
Facility: BRAND NEW All-weather 8 lane track
Entry Fee: $8 per individual for one event
$11 per individual for two events $13 per individual for three events $13 per relay team $20 MINIMUM FEE Make checks payable to Dublin High School. Entry fees are due Thursday, March 19, 2020. Every school must pay for every event entered at the close of entries.
Entries: Entry of individual athletes and relay teams in each event will be done on
www.athletic.net. Entries will be closed Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Please be honest about your entry times as we would like to have all of the heats be competitive. If you enter an athlete with no entry time, they are subject to be placed in heats by the discretion of the meet director.
Race Seeding: The heats will be seeded by entry times, starting with the slower heats working to the faster heats.
Food/Souvenirs: There will be a snack bar as well as plenty of DDF swag.
Admission: General - $10
Senior Citizens & Minors - $5
Warm-up Area: Warm-ups may be done on the track infield as well as the baseball
fields area.
Results: Results for all races will be posted following each race on the results
boards around the corner from the snack bar as well as at www.dublincrosscountry.com and at www.adkinstrakwest.com.
