38th ANNUAL ROUGH RIDER INVITATIONAL
When: Friday October 18th 2019
Location: Woodward Park Fresno Ca (State Meet Course!)
Distance: Varsity runs 5K, all others run 3500 meters

1:30 -- Frosh-Soph Girls Small Schools
1:55 -- Frosh-Soph Girls Large Schools
2:20 -- Frosh Soph Boys Small Schools
2:45 -- Frosh-Soph Boys Large Schools
3:10 -- J.V. Girls
3:35 -- J.V. Boys
4 -- Varsity Girls Small Schools
4:30 -- Varsity Boys Small Schools
5 -- Varsity Girls Large Schools
5:30 -- Varsity Boys Large Schools
Timing: This race is chip timed. Instructions will be included in the coaches packet on race day. (Only enter runners that will actually compete on the day of the event to avoid wasting chips.

Entry Fee: $8 per athlete, $300 for a full team. Please mail payment or arrange for payment by Oct. 4th

Entries: Team registration and entries are done through athletic.net. Confirm team registration by 10/5/19. All Individual entries should be done by October 14th (by 11:59 PM). Space is limited; first come, first serve
Awards: Medals to the top 25 in each race division. Trophies to the top 2 teams in each race. Plaque to the individual winner in each varsity race. Special award to the best overall combined boys/girls teams in the frosh-soph and varsity races, both small and large school.
(Over 275 individual and team awards will be handed out during the meet)
Race Divisions, Small/Large: School enrollment of roughly 1750 or more will place you in large school division, below 1750 will place you in large school division.
Entry Rules: Unlimited entries in all divisions Frosh soph race is for freshmen and sophomores only. J.V. race is for juniors and seniors not in top 7. Varsity races have unlimited entries but only the top 7 will count towards scoring (this in order to allow schools to settle on final top 7 before championship season). Late submissions or race day changes may be subject to a $4 fee).
Snack Bar: Located in Mt. View shelter behind check-in area
T-shirts/Apparel: Custom T-Shirts made on site for sale!!!
Traffic: Teams leaving the meet early, please leave park through the back (Friant exit) in order to avoid disruption of races in progress.
Spectator Entry: Woodward Park charges a $5 fee to enter park, this is a city of Fresno fee, not a Rough Rider Invitational fee.
