Returning champs in a loaded D-IV field are Skyler Wallace of Sage Creek, Anthony Grover and Audrey Suarez.

Anthony Grover, a senior at JSerra Catholic in San Juan Capistrano, has won two consecutive Division IV CIF-State titles and is the favorite to become just the fourth boy in California history to win three consecutive division titles at the State Meet. Grover, a Wake Forest recruit, also is a two-time CIF-Southern Section champion and a Foot Locker National finalist. Despite an virus that sapped his energy at times toward the end of his junior XC season, Grover still managed to win a second State D-IV title and qualify for FLN. Read more about that here. Grover is also strong on the track. Last spring he ran the 800m, 1600m and 3200m at the section division finals and went on to place fourth at the State Meet in the 1600.
