Girls Performances
Event: Girls 1500m Race Walk (12 Years Old) - 8:22.86 - National Champion
Bothra captured California's lone girls national title on Day 2, winning the 12-year-old 1500m race walk in 8:22.86. She outleaned the runner-up by less than a second (0.81), producing one of the closest championship finishes of the day.
Event: Girls 1500m Race Walk (10 Years Old) - 8:50.12 - 2nd Place
Hariharasudhan claimed national silver with another sub-9:00 performance, stopping the clock at 8:50.12. She was one of just two athletes in the 10-year-old final to break the 9-minute barrier.
Event: Girls Pentathlon (14 Years Old) - 3rd Place (3,061 points)
Combest earned a national bronze medal with 3,061 points in the 14-year-old pentathlon. She won the high jump at 1.55m (5-1), added a 4.90m (16-1) long jump and finished among the event's top overall scorers.
Event: Girls Triathlon (10 Years Old) - 9th Place (1,074 points)
Brown finished ninth nationally in the girls 10-year-old triathlon, totaling 1,074 points across the 200m, high jump and shot put. She highlighted her day with a fifth-place finish in the 200m (29.24) and cleared 1.25m (4-1.25) in the high jump.
McKenna Sallis, Southern California Mustangs
Event: Girls 1500m Race Walk (11 Years Old) - 9:29.31 - 4th Place
Sallis continued her strong AAU meet by placing fourth nationally in 9:29.31. Her performance left her less than three seconds shy of a podium finish while breaking the 9:30 barrier.
Boys Performances
Event: Boys 1500m Race Walk (11 Years Old) - 9:09.83 - 2nd Place
Sethi earned national silver after clocking 9:09.83 in the 11-year-old division. He finished just over six seconds behind the champion while comfortably securing a podium finish.
Event: Boys 3000m Race Walk (13 Years Old) - 16:59.04 - 3rd Place
Kedia raced to a national bronze medal in the 3000m race walk, stopping the clock at 16:59.04. He became California's lone boys medalist in the event after breaking the 17-minute barrier.
Event: Boys 1500m Race Walk (10 Years Old) - 9:19.24 - 3rd Place
Marfatia earned a national bronze medal with a strong 9:19.24 effort in the 10-year-old division. His performance added another podium finish to Mission Valley's outstanding weekend in the race walk events.
Event: Boys 1500m Race Walk (12 Years Old) - 9:43.25 - 5th Place
Sethi rounded out California's top performers by placing fifth nationally in the 12-year-old race walk with a 9:43.25 clocking. He helped Mission Valley place athletes in the top five across multiple age divisions on Day 2.
Event: Boys Pentathlon (14 Years Old) - 13th Place (2,459 points)
Maldonado posted California's top combined-events performance outside the race walks, totaling 2,459 points for 13th nationally. He was highlighted by a 4:53.49 1500m and a 1.45m (4-9) high jump.
