This Week's Nominees:
Josie Hill, Sonoma Academy (NC) (California): Clocked 2:06.38 to win the Prospector Gold Rush, a new PR improving from 2:09 at last year's Arcadia Invitational.
Nicole Samson, Santiago (SS) (California): Set a personal record of 2:07.82 at The TEN to improve by 5 seconds in the 800m. Her 800m time ranks her CA No. 2 and 5th in the U.S.
Chiara Dailey, La Jolla (SD) (California): Clocked 9:53.38 in the 3200m to take over the U.S. No.1 spot. Dialey improved by 5 seconds to secure his victory at the dual meet.
Saniah Varnado, Long Beach Wilson (SS) (California): Won the 300m hurdles at the 45th Sundevil Track and Field Invitational in a time of 42.37. She is the new state leader and is currently ranked the 6th fastest runner in the nation.
Elliana Patterson, Christian (SD) (California): Posted a phenomenal 1600m and 3200m double at the 45th Sundevil Track and Field Invitational. She ran 4:56 in the 1600m to finish runner-up and 10:22 to win the 3200m
