The 2026 CIF Track and Field season is officially underway, so that means we're getting weekends fully loaded with amazing competition across the state.
In week 2, MileSplit will be on-site at the Buchanan Distance Classic, Nike LB Poly Trackrabbit Invitational, and Mustang Round Up. After these meets conclude, head back to ca.milesplit.com to watch race videos, view results, see interviews, photos, and meet recaps in the coming days.

Potential Highlight Performances
After impressive relay performances last weekend, Grace Smith and Isla Bulmer from Claremont are set to open their season in individual events.
Kadence Bain was a breakout performer in 2025 and looks to build on that momentum, starting with a season opener in the 300m hurdles.
A great 110m hurdle matchup between Lynnox Newton and Brandon Andrade, who both ran in last year's CIF State 110m hurdles final.
The Loyola boys' sprinters are opening their season with their first invitational after an epic showcase at the California Winter Championships.

Reigning CIF State Boys Team Champions, Servite, compete against the best in Orange County.
Jaelen Hunter is set to run his first 400m of the outdoor season after winning the Brooks PR championship last season.
Maximo Zavaleta, the reigning CIF-SS D1 XC Champion, is set to race the 3200m and 1600m against elite competition.
The Rosary Academy girls, Justine Wilson, Maliyah Collins, Tra'via Flournay, Jaida Faison, and Amaya Faison, are set to dominate the sprint events again.
