The South Coast League Finals cross country teams brought their best and raced at Irvine Regional Park on November 6, 2025. Freshman, Sophomore, Junior Varsity, and Varsity athletes competed below the beautiful backdrop of the local hills for all league honors.
For the third consecutive year, the ladies from the Trabuco Hills varsity team won the league championship with a score of 33 points. San Clemente was second (46), and El Toro finished third (51). Recent BYU commit Millie Bayles won the individual championship with a time of 16:32.9 on the three-mile course. Millie raced solo with a 31-second lead.
In their first year as a South Coast League team, the men from Arnold O. Beckman won the league championship with a score of 36, one point ahead of second place San Clemente (37). Third place was Trabuco Hills with 74 points. Oliver Hunter from Dana Hills won the individual championship with a 14:21.7 time. An athlete from Dana Hills has won the boys' individual league championship for 13 consecutive years.
The fastest girls freshman of the meet was Isabella Lubba (Trabuco Hills), finishing 12th with a time of 17:52.9
The fastest freshman boy was Gabriel Chantaca (San Clemente) with a time of 15:20.5. Gabriel finished 1st in the freshman race and 16th overall in the merge.
