This year was no different for the JSerra Girls, who have maintained their No. 2 nationally ranked position. However, the individual champion this year goes to Carol Dye of Santa Margarita, who ran 17:39 to win it all.

Brenna Mannion (Vista De Lago)

The fastest 5000m cross country race in California last week goes to Breanna Mannion of Vista del Lago, who won the CVC Finals. Mannion finished in 17:07, beating the second-place finisher by 23 seconds in one of the most competitive leagues in the CIF Sac-Joaquin section.
