CANDIDATES 

Kaylee Best (Norco)Two BIG VIII Championships meet records for Kaylee Best, a consistent jumps all-star throughout her four years at Norco. Best jumped 19-8.5 to PR in the long jump and moved up to CA No.3 in the rankings. She also broke the triple jump meet record with a 39-1.

Evangeline Williams (Trabuco Hills)At the South Coast League Finals, Evangeline continued her fantastic Freshman season with a big win in 1600m in 4:48.40. She now ranks sixth in California and second nationally for freshman girls. Williams doubled back at South Coast to run 2:12.70 in the 800m.

Paige Echsner (Del Norte)Meanwhile, Paige Escher continues her undefeated pole vault season at a dual meet in San Diego. Escher vaulted over 13 feet for the seventh time this season with a 13-6.  

Reese Holley (JSerra)Don't forget the name Reese Holley, because the JSerra sophomore has just emerged as a serious threat in the 1600m. Holley won the Trinity League Finals in a PR of 4:49.99, making her the eleventh fastest in California. She also ran 2:12 in the 800m, illustrating the speed in her arsenal.
