Adonijah Currie, a junior at Golden Valley (SS), ran what was an all-conditions state-best and U.S. No. 13 time in the 100 meters (11.73/2.7) at the Redondo Track Festival.

For that performance, you voted Currie as the MileSplitCA Girls Track and Field Performer of the Week for the week ending March 12.

Currie received 50.60 percent of nearly 50K votes -- Fifty Thousand!!! -- in a statewide poll. Arielle McKenzie, a sophomore at La Canada (SS), was second in the voting, receiving 48.56 percent of the vote.

Each week we will put seven top performers from the past week on the line and let you choose the top CA Track and Field Performer of the Week.

Note that rankings are based on results in the MileSplit database as of Monday morning and are subject to change as more results are loaded into the database.

Voting closes Friday at 9 p.m.
