During his 2022 indoor season debut at the 400m distance, Justin Braun wasted no time in making his presence known at the Armory on Friday during New Balance Nationals.
In the second track-based event of the morning schedule, Braun drew lane 5 in heat 3 and posted a U.S. No. 2 mark of 47.12 on his way to the race victory and what stood as the fastest effort of the preliminary round.
He put himself in great position for Saturday's finals, where he'll encounter fellow national talents Jayson Ward and William Jones, among others.
Braun will also contest the 60 at NBNI over the weekend.
