Earlier last week, Williams dropped a 4:38.58 PR for 1600 meters. A mark that ranks CA No. 7 in the class.
Among highlights of his initial cross country season, he won his race at Laguna Hills with the top time at that meet in the class, was the No. 3 freshman boy at the Clovis Invitational, and ran the third-fastest time in the class at the CIF-Southern Section Championships at Mt. SAC.
