Foot Locker Webcasts Feature All-Time Greats

Who is the greatest Foot Locker National Cross Country champion?

What Foot Locker Nationals alum has enjoyed the greatest college and professional career?

What is the most legendary Foot Locker National Championship race?

To celebrate Foot Locker's four decades of crowning an individual national high school cross country champion, we have created six categories:

  • Greatest High School Foot Locker National Champion - Boys & Girls
  • Greatest Post-High School Career of Foot Locker Participants - Boys & Girls
  • Most Legendary Foot Locker Races - Boys & Girls

Foot Locker will be hosting three webcasts beginning this Saturday, Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. EST, with installments scheduled for Dec. 5 and Dec. 12.

All three webcasts will also be available for viewing at www.footlockercc.com beginning the day after their initial broadcast.

Any athlete or coach who logs on may ask a question or share their favorite Foot Locker memory. If their question or memory is used on the webcast, that person will be sent a Foot Locker t-shirt.

Thanks to Foot Locker West Regional coordinator, Tim O'Rourke, who shared the exceptional lineup of elite athletes scheduled to be featured on for these webcasts.

For all of us purists -- you will NOT find a better accumulation of talent providing online access to the public than this series!

Kicking off the action and highlighting the first session (Saturday, Nov. 28) are Olympians Jenny Simpson, Meb Keflezighi, and Deena Kastor (Drossin). Additionally, Molly Seidel (Huddle), who secured a spot in the marathon for the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Jorge Torres, Rueben Reina, Weini Kelati, Chris Solinsky, and Cory McGee are also on the slate!

Athletes scheduled to appear December 5 include Melody Fairchild, Ashley Brasovan, Jordan Hasay, Kathy Kroger, among others.  Most of us are well aware of Hasay's local accomplishments as the only athlete to win a Foot Locker regional meet FOUR times -- going on to win the Foot Locker National title during her freshman and senior campaigns.

In the spotlight for the December 12 and final installment of this incredible three-part series are Olympians Dathan Ritzenhein, Alan Webb, and Big Bear High product and two-time Olympian, Ryan Hall!   Fresh off her runner-up finish at the London Marathon from last month, Sara Hall (Bei) will also join the men for this final series.  Also on the docket is Abby Vanderkoi, Todd Williams, among others.
