Tim Nelson (Liberty Christian/NS) - One of only four three-time champions, winning the Division V title in 2000, '01 and '02. ... Fastest winning time was in 2000 when he was clocked in 15:31, Viewpoint's Tom Kubler was also clocked in 15:31 but Nelson was credited with the victory. 

Louie Quintana (Arroyo Grande/CS) - Division I champion in 1990 running 14:47, which stood as the second-fastest time of a State Meet champion until Arcadia's Ammar Moussa ran 14:43 in 2010 to surpass Bryan Dameworth's record set in 1989. ... Quintana ran second to Dameworth in '89, crossing in 14:59, one of only 25 to ever run sub-15 at the State Meet.

Luis Grijalva (Armijo/SJ) - Division I champion in 2016, running 14:51. ... One of 17 to ever win a State title while running sub-15. That time ranks 10th all-time among State Meet champions.
