Following on the heels of the Senior State Championship, it's time to go back through every section and do a Virtual Championship including all grades. These virtual meets use an athletes top mark from either 2019 or 2020, to capture the returning athletes that were set to make an impact as well as the breakout performers from the early spring. Plus, this method generates team scores!
Although we know that nothing can replace the lost track season, we hope this will provide some entertainment and some recognition for the state's top athletes. During a time when we would normally be looking toward the 2021 season by examining returning athletes from 2020, we will look back instead - although several of these athletes WILL be returning to shine next spring.
