If you're not familiar with Dylan Wilbur yet, you should be. He is the third-ranked individual returner in the state wide 3 Mile rankings, and he posted a 4:12 on the track. He will be a contender for the Southern Section title this fall and could be on track for a podium finish at the state meet. This is far from a one-man team, though; behind Wilbur the Falcons have a deep and solid pack, separated by 64 seconds from 2-7 and by only 35 seconds from 3-7 according to returning 3 Mile rankings. Returning #2 runner Erik Faeustle led that pack both last fall and this past spring, which saw Crescenta Valley sporting a 6-man group of milers separated by only 13 seconds. If that group continues to progress over the summer - and their recent year-round improvement says that's likely - then this team should easily overcome the loss of three seniors from their 2018 squad and at least repeat last year's success. A top 5 finish in Division 1 isn't out of the question here.
