Weather-delayed events from Saturday at the Sac-Joaquin Section, North Coast Section and San Francisco City Section meets were completed Monday.
The performance list for the 101st CIF-State Track & Field Championships, available on the CIF-State website (cifstate.org), has been updated.
The 101st CIF-State T&F Championships is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 24-25 at Veterans Memorial Stadium on the Buchanan High School campus in Clovis. Prelims in all events except the 3200 run will be held Friday. All finals, including the 3200, will be held Saturday.
Friday, gates are scheduled to open at 2 p.m., field qualifying is set to start at 3 p.m. with the first gun of track qualifying scheduled for 5 p.m.
Saturday, gates open at 3:30 p.m. with field event finals getting underway at 4:30 p.m. and the first track event final at 6 p.m.
Starting heights for the horizontal jumps:
- Girls High Jump 5-2
- Girls Pole Vault 11-6
- Boys High Jump 6-4
- Boys Pole Vault 14-9
Weather forecast for Friday is for a temperature range from 80-59 and a 10 percent chance for rain. For Saturday, not as good but the updated forecast from Weather.com is a continued improvement on earlier in the week but thunderstorms and showers are likely.
