Early-Season Ranking of California's top Girls XC Runners

#11 Riley Chamberlain, Del Oro (SJS)

Starting at 11th (I know, breaking rules already) is Del Oro freshman, Riley Chamberlain. If you have not heard about Riley Chamberlain so far this season, you will soon enough. So far, Chamberlain is undefeated in four races. At the Oakmont Invitational, she broke the previous record held by Alex Beitia of Granite Bay. Beitia finished in 4th place at the state meet that same season as a senior with a 17:30.4 on the Woodward Park course. She also qualified for the Foot Locker National meet and is currently running at Loyola Marymount University. Chamberlain is not just a cross country stalwart as she also ran a 5:01.56 for 1600m as an 8th grader.
