#10 Gabe Abbes, Great Oak (SS)
Over the past few seasons, Great Oak has become the most dominant team in California as they have amassed invitational victories, section and state titles and hardware from NXN faster than they can build trophy cases at the school. This season should be no different as both teams will be favored to win state titles before making their annual trip to Portland the following week. It goes without saying that several Great Oak Individuals will be among the best in state and for the boys, their current leader is junior Gabriel Abbes. He had bests of 4:24.36 and 9:16.50 on the track and at their first invitational of the season, Abbes led the Wolfpack pack to another team title by winning the Seaside Invitational.
