GIRLS ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
Tierra Robinson-Jones (Bishop O'Dowd) --Robinson-Jones was an easy selection here as the athlete of the year with one of the finest sprint seasons of any NCS female athlete. She won both the 400 and 200 at the state meet with a dominating victory in the one lap race and a fantastic finish in the half lap race. At the state meet, Robinson-Jones rolled to a 52.37 time which is the fastest 400 ever run by an NCS athlete. At the NCS MOC meet, Robinson-Jones posted her best 200m time of the season at 23.56.
